In today’s blog, she readily admits that she’s fallen down – and needs help getting up! It’s refreshingly honest and totally relatable because we’ve all felt ashamed and embarrassed when absent from our fitness for too long.
Life happens. Motivation wanes. Injuries occur. Laziness abounds.
And, here’s the good news for every single person out there who hasn’t been to Method 360 in a while.
It. Doesn’t. Matter. Just get back here – we’ll welcome you with a high five and a GREAT workout. No judgment. We’re right here in little old East Syracuse with 9000 square feet of awesomeness! Now it’s your move.
Method 360 has been a natural stress reliever, ass-kicking, feel-good activity that I fortunately found 3 years ago!
Well, I fell off the wagon this winter/spring and gained more weight than I care to address. I cannot excuse it with, "It was too damn cold outside", "I have a 4-year-old who never sleeps", or " I work where the cookies are flowing daily".
I now feel like, “Omg, I can’t go back. Everyone will tease me and think, ‘Wow she gained some weight!’"
Ridiculous, right?! Because anyone who knows Method 360 knows no one there would ever say that. The people there just actually care about helping you get back on the wagon.
1. When I go to class I can catch up with some of my favorite people who I never see outside of the gym because of everyone's crazy daily lives.
2. I get a therapy session that’s different everyday but somehow relates to my life every. single. time.
3. I tell myself during and after to remember this feeling because it is what will get me out of bed at 4:45 am to do it again tomorrow!
My goal is to be a "Success Story". If I set this goal and make it public, it WILL happen. I will no longer listen to the voices in my head that tell me, “No one cares if you don't show up to class this morning!” Because… I care and I know there are actually people who care too! (< Our entire staff raises their hands here! We DO give a shit!! It matters to us when you’re not here!)
